Thursday, 18 April 2013 NATO Tiger Meet 2013 forces
Hi Tiger Fans: this year’s tiger meet is going to be a big one. If all the forecast squadrons show up as announced, it will be the biggest in terms of nations and units participating and #s of aircraft.
The operational component, Exercise Arctic Tiger 2013, promises to again be the largest air exercise in Europe. So, do try to get up to Norway for both the Spotters Day and the Airshow, which the Base, not the NTA, will produce. Hint: bring some extra cash as most of the Squadrons will open their souvenir stands at least during the airshow. Note: a couple of otherTiger Sqns, not on the list, will “try” to show up for the weekend. And if you have a chance, stop by the colorful new NTA tent and say hello; we too have a few new goodies.
